Are you someone who delivers exceptional service with a touch of luxury? We are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team! You will contribute to a seamless hospitality experience by supporting mealtimes, maintaining tidy and well-organised dining spaces, managing stock and temperature checks, and assisting residents with their day-to-day non-care needs. Location: Lambwood Heights, 244 Lambourne Road, Chigwell IG7 6HX

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Contract: Full-time

Shift: Days (10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week)

What do you need to succeed?

Our Hospitality Assistants support the care teams by providing exceptional hospitality service, supporting the Head Chef, Reception Teams, Housekeeping and Lifestyles Team. Strong people skills and good organisation are essential. Hospitality experience and a genuine interest in care are desirable.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with meal service either in resident rooms or dining rooms.
  • Ensuring water/drink jugs are regularly refilled in resident rooms.
  • Setting up and clearing down tables before and after lunch service.
  • Recording and monitoring the temperatures of fridges and dining room service stations to meet compliance standards.
  • Maintaining the Bistro to ensure it remains clean, organised and consistently well stocked.
  • Attending to residents’ non-care related needs including opening/closing curtains and changing TV channels.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a luxurious setting.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude and willingness to work in support of residents.
  • Customer-facing experience, with capability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
