At Lambson Innovate, we’re proud to run one of the UK’s most successful manufacturing companies, where safety, quality and environmental responsibility genuinely matter. We process many different components for multiple sectors including luxury yacht builders, motorhome and lodge companies every week, and keeping our people and processes safe is a huge part of how we operate.
As our QHSE Officer (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment), you’ll be a visible and hands-on presence across the site, supporting teams, solving problems, and helping us maintain a safe, compliant and continuously improving operation. You’ll spend plenty of time building relationships, understanding how each area works, and helping colleagues carry out tasks safely and confidently.
Day to day, you'll lead risk assessments, inspections, audits and incident investigations, working with managers to put practical improvements in place. You’ll also help maintain our ISO management systems and FSC compliance, keeping everything up to date and supporting internal and external audits.
We're big on helping our people understand what 'good' looks like, so you’ll support training, share best practice and help embed a positive culture where everyone feels responsible for safety and quality. This is a role where you can make a real impact every day, protecting our people, improving our processes, and helping us operate responsibly and sustainably!
What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Supporting the day to day delivery of the site’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality strategy
- Promoting a strong safety first culture by working closely with operational teams across site
- Conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Supporting and maintaining FSC Accreditation, ISO management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) and EUDR regulations

- Providing coaching and guidance to colleagues and managers on best practices
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Monitoring compliance with UK HSE legislation and regulatory requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement across safety, environmental and quality performance
This is a role where you’ll spend plenty of time out in our production facility with the team, not just behind a desk.
