Social Worker (Posts) Children Social Care - Contextual Safeguarding / Risk Outside the Home Service

This is a unique opportunity to help us deliver our vision and be part of an energetic driving force for improving our responses to children, young people, and young adults at risk of harm outside the home, throughout the Local Authority and safeguarding partnership.
You will use your passion, expertise, and excellent practice to establish and deliver high-quality work to the children, young people, and young adults within Lambeth. The role will be in the Support Team and will provide an assessment of need, direct intervention, and support to children and young people referred through the Children’s Social Care Integrated Referral Hub with high concerns and risks of a contextual nature, being considered at risk of harm outside the home.
We are seeking experienced practitioners committed to achieving better life chances for children, young people, and young adults at risk of extra-familial harm, ideally with experience in systemic and trauma-informed approaches. Social Workers within the Support Team are core roles within our Contextual Safeguarding/Risk outside the home Service.
The ideal candidates will have a passion, appropriate experience, and strong safeguarding knowledge to work with children and young people at risk of or experiencing exploitation or serious violence, building trusted relationships to keep them safe. The postholder will need confidence and credibility to work with multiple stakeholders, building strong partnerships to meet the needs of a diverse borough.
