Duties Job Responsibilities:
- The Steel Fixer will be responsible for fabricating and installing steel reinforcement structures, such as rebar, mesh, and cages, to reinforce concrete structures.
- Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh using manual or automated tools and equipment.
- Install steel reinforcement structures within concrete forms, ensuring they are correctly positioned, aligned, and securely tied or welded.
- Collaborate with other colleagues, such as concrete workers, carpenters, etc, to coordinate work and ensure proper integration of steel reinforcement with concrete structures.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with other construction tasks and duties as needed.
