Overview
In this role you support young people aged 16–18 (up to 25 with an EHCP) who are NEET or at risk, delivering information, advice, guidance, and practical help to access education, employment and training. You will collaborate with schools, colleges, training providers and youth justice professionals to remove participation barriers and contribute to the borough’s NEET reduction efforts. This post sits within the Back on Track NEET Service, a key partner in Lambeth’s youth support landscape, advancing outcomes for vulnerable young people. You will work in a collaborative, outcomes-driven team dedicated to safer recruitment and inclusive opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Provide intensive information, advice, guidance and practical support to help NEET young people access education, employment and training
- Build and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, schools, colleges, training providers and youth justice professionals
- Remove barriers to participation to improve long-term outcomes
- Maintain accurate participation records and support statutory data returns
- Contribute to the council’s wider NEET reduction strategy
- Collaborate with Youth Justice Services and other partners to support young people known to YJS
