Working in our CPO valuation team offers diverse and impactful work, drawing on a wealth of experience from a national service line. Using knowledge of compulsory purchase law and procedures to assist government departments, infrastructure providers, and developers. Representing property owners and occupiers to ensure fair consultation and compensation. Providing advice on property values and acquisitions under CPO. Assisting with objections and public inquiries. Valuing and preparing compensation claims, including business disturbance. Negotiating with public authorities. Serving as an expert witness at the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) if needed. This opportunity: Lambert Smith Hampton seeks valuation surveyors specializing in CPO to work in our South offices, including London, East Anglia, and the Thames Valley. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from local authorities to infrastructure companies. Qualifications: Chartered surveyors with experience in CPO matters.
