About the Team

The Asset Advisory Team provides a wide range of professional services, including valuation and disposal of plant and equipment for insolvency practitioners, accountants, asset-based lenders, banks, corporate and private clients, insurance brokers and law firms. We work across the UK and sometimes further afield for a vast array of clients.

Key focus of job:

LSH Asset Advisory Team have an exciting opportunity to bring on a Chartered Surveyor or experienced person to support the function in the London and Southern regions. This role would suit dynamic, ambitious, self-motivated individuals with aspirations to pursue a long-term career in the valuation and sale of machinery and business assets. The position will encompass site inspections, scheduling of machinery & equipment, undertaking cost research, agency work and report writing, primarily on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners.

Main tasks:

  • Assist in day to day running and management of all case work
  • Corresponding with clients
  • Completing site inspections and surveys
  • Preparing valuation and marketing reports
  • Collating and analysing comparable evidence and sales data
  • Assisting with the sales of businesses, assets and plant and machinery

This opportunity exists for:

  • A Surveyor, or Newly Qualified Surveyor, looking to build a career in Plant, Machinery & Business Asset Valuation and Agency
  • A Surveyor, at any level, with some previous experience in Plant, Machinery & Business Asset Valuation and Agency

Essential Requirements:

  • Valuation experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Full UK Driving licence and access to a car
  • Computer literacy
  • Competency in MS Word & Excel
