About the Team:

The Asset Advisory Team provides professional valuation advice on machinery and business assets to financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, accountants, and company management. We undertake valuations of all types of industrial assets for a variety of purposes and also advise on asset disposal strategy, with our bespoke online auction platform and site clearances.
In addition, we have LPA property receivership specialists. We work across the UK and sometimes further afield for a vast array of clients, always challenging the status quo to go beyond our clients’ expectations.
About the Role:
LSH Asset Advisory Team has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director or Senior Valuer in the South West & Wales. We’re looking for dynamic, ambitious, and self‑motivated individuals with aspirations to build a long‑term career in the valuation and sale of machinery and business assets.
The LSH Asset Advisory Team offers a wide range of professional services, including valuation and disposal of plant and equipment, to asset‑based lenders, insolvency practitioners, accountants, banks, corporate and private clients, insurance brokers, and law firms.
Your role will involve working across the full region with our team, visiting businesses across the Southwest & Wales, and engaging in varied valuations and asset disposals while developing a long and satisfying career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day‑to‑day running and management of all case work
- Correspond with and market to clients
- Assist with site inspections and surveys
- Assist in the preparation of valuation reports
- Collate and analyse comparable evidence and sales data
- Assist with the sale of businesses, assets and plant and machinery
- Apply previous experience at any level within the sector
- Maintain good organisational skills and timekeeping
- Be pro‑active and think strategically
- Show confidence to ask questions and challenge the unknown and known
- Display enthusiasm to learn and exploit all opportunities the role presents
- Understand the importance of deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Be computer‑literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
