About the Role:
This is an amazing opportunity to join a fast paced, hardworking business development team at the conception of this essentially new department for Lambert Smith Hampton. You’ll play a critical role in researching potential client organisations, building contact databases, and making outbound calls to key decision-makers to secure meetings and support strategic growth initiatives. Working closely with internal service line leaders, you will contribute directly to the expansion of our client base and the continued success of our business.
For the first six months of the role, there will be education provided from various members across the business, to ensure you have a rounded knowledge of the services we provide. Alongside your learning, you will be receiving leads and data from people around the business, which you will then process, research, and upload to our CRM system (HIVE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching data to qualify information
- Uploading the data to predetermined standards to the CRM system
- Speaking to people across LSH nationally to further develop our information and to learn more about our offerings
- Identify, research, and qualify potential new business opportunities within the London and South East commercial property markets.
- Initiate outbound calls and emails to prospective clients, promoting LSH’s full range of services.
- Work closely with Agency, Lease Advisory, Business Rates, and Building Consultancy teams to understand their value propositions and tailor outreach accordingly.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new business prospects using CRM tools and lead-tracking systems.
- Set up qualified appointments, meetings, and calls for senior fee earners and service line leaders.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitive activity, and new opportunities within key sectors.
- Support marketing campaigns with data-driven prospecting and follow-up activities.
- Assist in refining messaging, scripts, and outreach strategies for maximum impact.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a telesales, business development, or lead generation role, ideally within a B2B or professional services environment.
- Any experience using CRM systems would be beneficial
- Strong verbal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Demonstrable ability to build rapport, qualify leads, and secure meetings over the phone.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage a dynamic prospect pipeline.
- Ideally experience, or a keen interest in commercial real estate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Commercially minded and ability to cross sell
