The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 € per year.

The purpose of the role is to manage the production process through effective management of people working on their shift, and to ensure quality, production and safety key performance indicators are achieved.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Ensure own work is compliant with relevant health and safety, environmental and human resources policies, procedures, objectives and regulations.
  • BBS (Behavioural Based Safety) – responsible for your own safety and for those around you.
  • Manages and develops the performance of the team in order to achieve objectives, by coaching, mentoring and holding team members accountable.
  • Accountable for safety, quality, people and KPI objectives for the shift.
  • Ensure all housekeeping requirements are met for the workplace.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
  • Investigate and rectify any staff performance issues and work with HR to manage disciplinary issues.
  • Ensure labour costs are managed within agreed levels.
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
  • Communicate KPIs from the annual plan so that each employee is aware then develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
  • Carry out complaint investigations.
  • Support / lead CI projects.
  • Contribute to improving / maintaining GPTW scores.
  • Develop training plans to upskill and cross train team members.
  • Report and elevate process issues in a timely manner.
  • Any other reasonable task as requested by your line manager.

Qualifications

  • Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).
  • Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S, GMP and Food Safety desirable.
  • Lamb Weston funded ILM and PPT.

Experience

  • 2-3 years’ food manufacturing experience.
  • SAP/SCADA experience.
