Senior Legal Accounts Manager required for our two-office practice with over 200 years of history, based at our Kettering office with support from an Accounts Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our well-established practice. The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience of legal accounts and be able to work without supervision. The candidate will handle the day-to-day Senior Legal Accounts Manager responsibilities for the Firm.
Duties will include:
- Office and client payments
- Payment of business utilities
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Month and Year end duties
- Liaison to the Accountants
- Liaison for financial advisers regarding employee pensions
Systems we use include:
- LEAP
- Xero
- Sage
What we are looking for:
- The preferred candidate will be able to prove they can work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines
- They must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the Solicitors Account Rules is essential
- Is ambitious and interested in getting involved in business development

We work a 35-hour week Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break at 1pm.
Annual leave starts with 23 days plus bank holidays.Additional annual leave dependant on length of service.
