Lalys Pharmacy is a long-established independent community pharmacy with 16 branches across the South. We are looking for a pharmacist to work in our branch in central Portsmouth. We are looking for someone to do regular Saturdays. Extra hours in the week are available. Saturday: 09:00-12:00

- GPhC registered
- Able to provide high-quality care and customer service
- Capable of the safe, legal and effective day-to-day running of a community pharmacy
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with patients and customers, with integrity & compassion
- You will be required to build good team working relationships, encourage learning and development and manage staff with the support of the Branch Lead & HR
- Leadership skills
- Community pharmacist experience preferred, but not essential
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medication accurately & in a timely manner
- Adhere to legal & ethical guidelines and compliance, updating knowledge & skills as necessary
- Ensure patient and branch records are kept accurate & up to date in accordance with any deadlines
- Provide expert advice on medication, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
- Educate patients on proper medication use, such as dosage, timing, and storage instructions
- Provide various patient services, e.g. vaccinations & the Pharmacy First services
- Support branch-level HR operations within your team
