Lakshya Digital, a part of Keywords Studios, is a leading provider of Game Art services to the global games industry. With over 800 employees and contributions to more than 150 AAA titles across all major platforms and genres, Lakshya is known for its high-quality work and best-in-class processes. We are growing rapidly and have studios in India (in Gurgaon, Bangalore, and Pune) as well as teams in the US, UK, Japan, and the Philippines. Our studio works on multiple exciting projects at any one time offering plenty of variety and involvement.
We are looking for an experienced Principal Narrative Designer (UK time zone preferred but not required) to join the team. This is a fully remote 6-month Freelance contract starting in June 2025, with the possibility of extension for another 6-12 months. The successful candidate must be able to work within the UK timezone hours.
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of experience as a narrative designer, writing and implementing dialogue to support the player journey
- Strong knowledge of Unreal and experience with dialogue systems
- Ability to write and edit compelling dialogue for characters, missions, and cinematics
- Experience guiding and mentoring other writers to ensure quality and consistency
- Familiarity with building and maintaining narrative design documentation
- Strong understanding of non-linear narrative structures and systems
- Skilled at aligning story beats with gameplay and level design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work across disciplines
