LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is the story of passionate craftsmanship in gourmet liquorice. Founded in 2007 by Johan Bülow on the Danish island of Bornholm, we continue our journey of creating surprising combinations and sensory experiences with liquorice at the core. The ambition remains the same: To inspire people around the world and spread the love for this unique Nordic flavour.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team in Canary Wharf, London. The position is 20 hours/week and you will support our team and assist with the day-to-day running of the store, whilst creating an excellent customer experience through product and brand knowledge.
Key responsibilities:- Welcoming customers and making sure their experience is worth remembering
- Running tasting sessions — this is the heart of how we sell and the fastest way to turn a sceptic into a fan
- Making gifting recommendations based on budget and occasion
- Growing our customer community through our Lakrids Lovers loyalty programme
- Keeping the concession looking exceptional in line with visual merchandising standards
- Working closely with the Store Manager and the wider team
- Operating in line with both LBB brand standards and Selfridges' own requirements
- Weekdays 10:00am - 8:00pm
- Weekends 12:00am - 6:00pm
Full flexibility regarding work days.
Requirements:
- Confidence with people. You’re comfortable approaching customers, not just waiting to be approached
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience (helpful, not essential)
- Availability across a mix of weekdays and weekends within concession trading hours
- Good organisational skills and an eye for detail
- A team-first mindset
- A genuine interest in food, flavour, or premium products is a real plus
- Support and sales development from our UK Store Manager
