WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN US IN OUR MISSION TO MAKE THE WORLD LOVE LIQUORICE? LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is the story of passionate craftsmanship in gourmet liquorice. Founded in 2007 by Johan Bülow on the Danish island of Bornholm, we continue our journey of creating surprising combinations and sensory experiences with liquorice at the core. The ambition remains the same: To inspire people around the world and spread the love for this unique Nordic flavour.
With the mission to make the world love liquorice - one liquorice at a time, LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW has its own stores in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as retail partners in more than 40 markets. The UK is our fastest growing market. We have built a portfolio of London locations with more being opened this year, triple digit growth in our wholesale business and a thriving ecommerce channel. This role puts you at the centre of that growth.
We're looking for a Concession Manager to lead our store in Selfridges. This is a full-time role reporting into our UK Stores Manager, who oversees all three of our UK locations. You'll be the senior person on the ground, leading a team of up to five and taking full ownership of how the concession runs.
The iconic Selfridges attracts a genuinely premium customer - high gifting intent, international visitors, and real willingness to spend when the experience is right. Your job is to make sure it always is.
Key responsibilities:
- Taking full accountability for the concession: sales performance, team standards, and day-to-day operations
- Leading and developing a team of up to five, with a real focus on product knowledge and the art of the tasting
- Driving revenue through proactive tasting sessions - converting the curious and the skeptical into genuine fans
- Growing our customer community through our Lakrids Lovers loyalty programme
- Managing stock levels and coordinating replenishment with head office
- Building and managing the rota to cover concession hours across the team
- Operating in line with both LBB brand standards and Selfridges' own requirements
- Reporting into the UK Stores Manager on performance and operational matters
Opening hours:
Weekdays and Weekends: 9:30am - 10:15pm
We offer:
- Up to £30,000 depending on experience
- A performance bonus through our store manager incentive scheme, rewarding sales, loyalty and responsible trading
- Workplace pension
- 50% staff discount across our full product range
- Regular team socials throughout the year
- Direct support and development from our UK Stores Manager
- A workplace built on honesty, innovation, and passion for what we make
- Real opportunities for growth as the brand expands. We like to hire from within.
