Lakota, one of Bristol’s most iconic nightclubs and event spaces, is a proud UK Real Living Wage Employer. We’re looking for Front of House Hosts to be the welcoming face of Lakota. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and friendly start to their night.
About the Role
As a Front of House Host, you’ll greet guests, check tickets and guestlists, and make sure everyone feels welcome and looked after from the moment they arrive. This is a hospitality and guest-facing role, perfect for people with strong communication skills who love Bristol’s nightlife and want to be part of it.
Requirements
- Over 18
- Available Friday and Saturday nights
- Able to work peak dates such as Halloween and New Year’s Eve
- Hospitality, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred but not essential — training provided
- Positive, friendly, and confident in engaging with people
- Right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, friendly welcome to guests on arrival
- Scan tickets and manage guestlists with professionalism and efficiency
- Be proactive in supporting the team during quieter periods (e.g. helping with queues, directions, or enquiries)
- Answer customer questions and provide helpful information with positivity
- Identify and support vulnerable customers, ensuring they are safe and cared for
- Assist with accessibility enquiries and provide extra support to guests when needed
- Represent Lakota with professionalism and a guest-first approach
