Lakeside Mobile Support Program seeks fee-for-service Counselors to provide counseling services in the home or community during school hours for K‐12 students. The Counselors will help students identify, manage and overcome mental and emotional challenges that may impact their academic performance, developing and implementing strategies to improve well‐being and academic success while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide morning attendance support to students between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., depending on individual cases.
- Offer after‐school attendance support from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for high‐school students who do not participate in morning sessions.
- Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and problem‐solving skills.
- Collaborate with regular and special education students to promote academic success.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical counseling guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental‐health field.
Compensation & Benefits
- $40 per hour.
- $24 per hour for supervision/training rate.
- Travel reimbursement and bi‐weekly supervision provided.
