Overview
Security/ Guest services officer required at Lakeside Village.
Responsibilities
- Daily security operations at the site, CCTV monitoring, and patrols, along with customer service and contractor management.
- Work closely with the centre management team on day-to-day operations and event security; flexible to varied shift patterns, including days, weekends, and nights.
- Key holding and management
- Crisis management and evacuation
- Health and safety inspections/audits
- Daily checks to ensure the centre is safe and free of potential risk of accidents to users
- Centre operations and event management
- Spot and stop all suspicious or potential criminal activity; retain full control of a situation with confidence until arrival of other colleagues and/or emergency services
- Confident speaking on the phone and radio
Qualifications
- A valid front-line SIA Licence is required for the role (examples include Door Supervisor, Security Guarding, or Close Protection). A CCTV licence is desirable.
- A reasonable level of fitness is required, as you will spend the majority of your shift on your feet patrolling the outlet.
- Smart appearance and attention to detail, along with the ability to use your own initiative.
- The candidate must be well-organised and possess good written and verbal skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business activity.
