The suitable candidates would be able to undertake general maintenance and upkeep of grounds, buildings & equipment, as well actioning all maintenance and continuous review and improvement of facilities operations, ensuring the environment is compliant, safe and well maintained to the highest standards.
Reporting to the Operations & Compliance Manager, you will be our only maintenance person in the team dealing with the day-to-day maintenance issues. Working closely with the Management Support team who will coordinate your jobs and responsibilities.
Main duties of the job:- Undertake general building maintenance and repairs throughout the Hub, including plumbing, minor electrical repairs/work, painting and decorating, and minor building work, including student houses.
- Weekly testing of emergency lighting, H&S checks and legionella testing.
- Maintain pathways/steps around buildings throughout the year.
- Assist with all deliveries.
- Keep tools and store room tidy.
- Emptying of public bins around all 3 sites.

Person Specification:Qualifications:- Minimum of A-C GCSE or Equivalent in English and Maths.
