Lakes is a leading manufacturer and supplier of shower enclosures to the UK market. We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team of Service Technicians. The successful candidate will provide excellent face-to-face customer service to customers, whilst promoting our brand and services in end user homes and retailerβs showrooms.
Service area to cover South England from Kent to Dorset, covering Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, London and areas of Essex. Surrounding areas to suit business needs and holiday coverage.
- Clean driving licence β essential.
- Experience of shower enclosure fitting advantageous.
- Mechanical aptitude with a technical mind.
- Experience in working with hand tools.
- Physically fit due to lifting of heavy products.
- Able to work alone and as part of a team.
Key Tasks:
- Assess and repair faulty shower enclosures/bath screens in customer homes.
- Installation of displays in retailer showrooms.
- Liaise with the customer service team giving updates to service visits.
- Regular inspections of showroom displays.
- Telephone responses to aid and advise customers.
- Maintaining recognised van stock.
- Send daily visit reports, to include photos of issues.
- Able to identify where improvements can be made to products and liaise with the Product Manager.
- Carry out purchased services of varying options.
- To represent the company in a professional and competent manner.
Other Tasks:
- Maintaining the company vehicle.
- Build of exhibition stands, that may be out of business.
- Re-packaging of faulty or damaged products for return to head office.
- Special deliveries of Lakes products as required.
- Liaise with Sales Managers when required.
