ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Lakes College is a technical vocational Further Education College delivering education and training to full-time and part-time learners and apprentices to degree level. We have a vibrant campus in West Cumbria with state of the art vocational workshops and resources, including the National College for Nuclear Northern Hub.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to complement our existing delivery team. The successful candidate will have a wide range of experience in the Catering & Hospitality sector along with the drive and passion to contribute to the expansion of the department as we strive towards becoming an outstanding provider of education and training.
You will be an excellent communicator, combined with advanced organisational skills and have the ability to work with people across a broad range of sectors. This role will compliment a strong existing team and build upon our vision for the future as we grow and develop.
Applicants should have an industry recognised Level 3 qualification in Catering or equivalent as well as a minimum of Level 2 in Maths & English. You will have a range of experience in the Catering sector, as well as demonstratable in-depth knowledge of the subject area, which can be used to help support the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required of an excellent Catering learner.
Recent relevant teaching experience along with a recognised teaching qualification is considered advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided from our outstanding teacher education department.
This position is fixed term.
