TIG Welder - UK projects We're expanding our team of experienced TIG Welders on various industrial projects in the UK.

At Laker Vent Engineering, we're continuing to grow and are looking to connect with experienced TIG Welders to support a growing portfolio of current and upcoming projects across the UK. 📍 Scotland 📍 North East England 📍 North West England 📍 South West England The TIG Welder Role We are seeking experienced Welders with proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems.

Successful candidates will be considered for a range of upcoming projects as they become available.

About Us Laker Vent Engineering is a leading mechanical contractor operating within the engineering construction industry.

We specialise in the installation of highly regulated process piping systems, delivering high-quality solutions for blue-chip clients across the Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical sectors.

As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are expanding our network of experienced TIG Welders for both current and upcoming projects across the UK, including Scotland, the North East, the North West and the South West.

Key Responsibilities of the TIG Welder

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Produce high-quality welds to meet visual inspection and NDT requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a site-based installation team.
  • Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
  • Assist with pipe preparation, fit-up and fabrication where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 Trade Apprenticeship in Welding or Pipefitting (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable TIG welding experience within industrial or process piping environments.
  • Valid CCNSG, CSCS or recognised equivalent safety passport.
  • Knowledge of WPS requirements and welding acceptance criteria for visual inspection and NDT.
  • Experience working on Power, Energy, Petrochemical or Pharmaceutical projects is advantageous.
