Location: Lancaster or Lytham St Annes – Hybrid

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum

Our Family Department is expanding, and we are seeking to employ a full time Family Solicitor, from newly qualified up to 5 years PQE.

The successful candidate will have the option to work at either our Lytham St Annes or Lancaster head office, together with working from home (hybrid).

You will handle a mixture of private family cases, including private children matters, divorce and financial remedy cases.

You will be familiar with dealing with drafting agreements including pre/post nuptial agreements.

Your client base will be nationwide due to the firm’s geographical reach.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Be experienced working to Lexcel standards
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be organised
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have solid advocacy experience in the family courts
  • Have fantastic communication skills and be able to explain the complexities of the law to lay clients with ease
  • Have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding your billing / time recording targets
  • Experience of TOLATA / Cohabitee cases (Desirable)
  • Resolution membership (Desirable)
  • Law Society family / advanced family accredited (Desirable)
