Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
Our Family Department is expanding, and we are seeking to employ a full time Family Solicitor, from newly qualified up to 5 years PQE.
The Role
The successful candidate will have the option to work at either our Lytham St Annes or Lancaster head office, together with working from home (hybrid). You will handle a mixture of private family cases, including private children matters, divorce and financial remedy cases. You will be familiar with dealing with drafting agreements including pre/post nuptial agreements. Your client base will be nationwide due to the firm’s geographical reach.
Skills and Qualifications
- Be experienced working to Lexcel standards
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be organised
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Have solid advocacy experience in the family courts
- Have fantastic communication skills and be able to explain the complexities of the law to lay clients with ease
- Have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding your billing/time recording targets
- Experience of TOLATA/Cohabitee cases (Desirable)
- Resolution membership (Desirable)
- Law Society family/advanced family accredited (Desirable)
