Overview
This role is permanent and is based at our Kendal Distribution Centre.
Salary: £12.70 per hour (18 and over). Hours: 19.5 hours per week, with shifts scheduled as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Sunday rota: currently one shift every four weeks
Responsibilities
- Support the Facilities Manager to ensure that all facilities and areas of responsibility are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
- Supervise the Cleaning Team and manage people in your task area to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
- Engage in all activities relating to efficient cleaning and routine maintenance of the Windermere site, supporting the Facilities Coordinator/Manager.
- Carry out general cleaning duties as required, supervising and supporting Cleaning colleagues and working alongside the Facilities Coordinator/Manager.
- Take responsibility in the absence of the Facilities Coordinator/Manager.
- Ensure company and legal Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
- Use company systems and technology to communicate effectively with colleagues, other departments and the Facilities Coordinator/Manager.
