Lakeland Leather is long established as one of the area\'s leading independent retailers, specialising in luxury leather garments and accessories, along with a wide range of men\'s and women\'s clothing.

We\'re recruiting a Part-Time Permanent Sales Assistant to join the friendly team in our flagship Keswick town centre store. Available hours range from 20 to 30 per week but flexibility on working days is required, as is the ability to work some weekends.

Ideal candidates will be sales focused, able to demonstrate an excellent record of face to face customer service in a retail environment and have great communication skills. Above all, we love to recruit team members with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude.

In addition to a competitive basic hourly rate there\'s a performance based bonus scheme. We also offer generous employee discounts on our products.

Full training will be offered on all aspects of the role, including on Lakeland Leather\'s fabulous products.

There\'s plenty of scope for progression to become a Store Supervisor for those Sales Assistants who can demonstrate they\'ve got the skills and attitude to take the step up.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Maintain store displays and ensure merchandise is organised and visually appealing.
  • Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking products as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills to complete daily tasks efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
