The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The role will mainly require the successful candidate to use the FLT to transfer IBCs and drums on pallets around the site and both onto and from HGVs and to operating areas. The candidate will also be required to assist with the transfer of material from bulk tankers to bulk storage. They will also be required to transfer material from bulk storage to IBCs via a pump and to infrequently transfer material from IBCs and drums to jerry cans via a pump (repacking).

The candidate must be well organised, efficient, self-motivated and possess good practical skills. They should be able to work safely with chemicals within the confines of company guidance and be confident using PPE provided.

Based in Astley, Manchester, Lakeland Laboratories is a manufacturer and worldwide exporter of speciality chemicals. Chemicals on site are stored in bulk, in IBCs, in drums, and in jerry cans.
