We are professional, customer-centric, innovative, and our goal is to supply a 1st class service to our customers - giving 100% at all times. Based in West Cumbria, we are looking for an experienced Heating Engineer, who is able to install heating systems to a high standard, in a safe manner, whilst also delivering excellent customer service. This role can be non gas qualified. We are also looking for a service & repair engineer, with full accreditation required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of gas safety regulations, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and also be enthusiastic about learning new skills and further development. We are moving with the industry towards a renewable future, and will provide training on new technologies. Any additional qualifications for renewables, Commercial gas, LPG, Oil will also be beneficial, and salary will reflect this. We can be flexible with salary/holiday allowance/use of vehicle/separate summer/winter shifts (possible 4 day weeks in summer). Salary dependant on experience and qualifications. Overtime available.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of heating systems and appliances.
- Test gas systems for safety and efficiency.
- Carry out inspections of gas systems and appliances.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance of gas systems and appliances.
- Provide advice on the installation of new gas systems and appliances.
- Identify potential hazards in gas systems and take appropriate action.
- Keep accurate records of all work carried out.
