Shift Manager (Dairy Processing) – Artigarvan Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The business is complex and ambitious with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties. The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising and managing all production activities and personnel during shift in a milk powder processing plant. This key role ensures smooth operations, adherence to quality and safety standards, and efficient resource utilization. Production Management – Oversee daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules. Quality Assurance – Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and product quality standards (e.g., Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction A 3rd level qualification in Food Science, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent subject. Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within food manufacturing or dairy processing with 2 of these in a Supervisory or Leadership capacity. Strong leadership, team management and communication skills. Familiarity with quality management systems.
