Processing & Intake at Ballyrashane. Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland, with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties. The Group supplies to a broad customer base including some of the world’s foremost ‘blue chip’ companies across various channels. Internationally, we export some 240 different products to over 100 countries worldwide.
Applications are invited for multiple positions at our Ballyrashane site. Our Process & Intake Operator will be responsible for delivering production targets and meeting customer demands on time and in full, ensuring that food safety, quality, health & safety, and all operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out required duties within production departments, ensuring work is performed in accordance with appropriate work instructions and cleaning instructions.
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy, operating a “clean as you go” policy and reporting any spillages.
- Complete all production records on a ‘real time’ basis to ensure traceability.
- Demonstrate high personal standards in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
- Adhere to the HACCP system for control of product safety, legality, traceability, and quality.
- Work collaboratively with all functions on site and ensure effective communication with team members.
- Escalate issues to Supervisor/senior team member as appropriate.
- Support the programme of work to help deliver zero harm i.e. no accidents.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies.
- Develop own performance by completing relevant learning and development activities.
Who are we looking for?
