International Team - Bromley
Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The business is complex and ambitious with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties. With the most modern dairy manufacturing facilities in 8 locations on a cross-border basis, the Group supplies to a broad customer base including some of the world’s foremost ‘blue chip’ companies across the dairy food ingredients, foodservice and consumer food channels on a domestic Ireland, UK, European and global basis. Internationally we export some 240 different products to over 100 countries worldwide.
The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
Applications are invited for the above position within our International Sales team.
The Role:
The successful applicant will play a key role within our Commercial team, combining office management, administrative coordination, and project support. This role ensures the smooth running of our Bromley office while contributing to key commercial initiatives such as pricing strategy and trade show logistics.
- Coordinate logistics and planning for UK trade shows to ensure smooth execution.
- Managing all UK pricing models.
- Ensure compliance of invoice checking to local UK Bromley suppliers and specific customers for the UK division.
- Lead strategic projects for the Commercial team, including defining and rationalising the UK pricing strategy.
- Oversee office management, including health and safety compliance.
- Provide reception support when required, handling calls professionally and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Organise business travel, restaurant reservations, and hotel accommodation as needed.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including email distribution, courier arrangements, and postal services.
- Process invoices accurately with correct coding and forward to Accounts Payable for timely payment.
- Prepare parcels for dispatch, arrange collections, and manage postal requirements.
- Support the payroll team with annual leave and absence for the Bromley office.
The person:
The successful applicant will possess GCSE Math’s & English or equivalent (Grade C or above), previous experience of office administration, customer service and liaising with colleagues and team members at all levels within the workplace. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, a high level of numeracy, excellent communication and organizational skills are other essential criteria for this position. Experience of working within the FMCG sector, report generation, ERP systems and/or HR related duties would be advantageous.
