The Practice Implementation Coordinator will help ensure the successful migration and transformation from legacy veterinary software systems into the new ezyVet platform. This role ensures accurate data mapping, cleansing, validation, and seamless integration while minimizing disruption to clinic operations. The Practice Implementation Coordinator works closely with veterinary teams, IT staff, and software vendors to understand workflows and configure systems to meet business needs. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of veterinary practice operations are essential to ensure data integrity and successful system adoption. Additionally, they often provide training and post-conversion support to ensure a smooth transition for end users.
What you’ll do
- Participate/lead conversion meetings with hospital teams
- Successful conversion of data and workflows from existing PIMS to ezyVet
- Travel, train and support hospitals during their go-live week
- Support hospital teams during the post go-live hyper care
- Assist in the set-up of ezyVet Central Structure system that will allow Lakefield to have consistent coding and service lists
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance of ezyVet to ensure that it continues to support the ongoing needs of the hospitals and Lakefield as a whole
- Assist with other functions of the Procurement team to support the Lakefield hospitals

What we’re looking for
Required:
- Minimum 3 years Hospital Administrator or Veterinary Technician experience
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager or Certified Veterinary Technician certification is ideal
- 3+ years of experience working in a veterinary hospital
- Experience presenting to medium size groups in a professional environment
- Veterinary Practice Management experience; ezyVet experience preferred
- Office 365; Excel, Word experience
Preferred:
- Prior experience in practice management software transitions
- Prior experience with large software transitions

This position works primarily in an office or veterinary hospital environment. Physical requirements may include:

- Working at a computer
- Lifting up to 10 pounds
- Clinical exposure
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel may be required up to 25% depending on business needs.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $80,200 – $87,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible to participate in Lakefield’s annual incentive bonus program, subject to eligibility and plan terms.
