Having recently joined the Lake District Hotels group, we are now looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and help develop the hotel moving forward. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong hospitality leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while building and developing a high-performing team.

The Role

As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel, leading from the front and setting the standard across all departments. The Patterdale attracts a large walking and leisure market, so personality, warmth and genuine hospitality are just as important as commercial awareness and operational experience. You will work closely with the senior leadership team and Directors to continue developing the hotel, improving standards, growing revenue and creating a positive culture for both guests and employees.

  • Temporary live-in accommodation available if required
  • Staff discounts across all Lake District Hotels properties

  • Support from Directors, Operations and Central Support teams
  • The opportunity to lead one of the Lake District's most well-known hotels
