We provide bespoke financial planning advice to a loyal and expanding client base, including high-net-worth individuals with complex planning needs.

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient paraplanner to join our established team.

This is a fully office-based role, offering close collaboration with advisers, administrators and fellow paraplanners.

The Role

As a paraplanner, you will work closely with Financial Advisers to provide comprehensive research, analysis and technical support across all areas of financial planning.

You will be involved in the full advice process, from undertaking research and analysing client circumstances through to preparing high-quality suitability reports and helping develop planning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse client information obtained from fact finds, meeting notes and existing records.
  • Conduct detailed research and technical analysis across pensions, investments, tax planning, protection, trusts and estate planning.
  • Prepare suitability reports, recommendation letters and supporting documentation to a consistently high standard.
  • Undertake cash flow modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Research products, platforms and providers to identify suitable client solutions.
  • Review and analyse existing investment and pension arrangements.
  • Support advisers before and after client meetings.
  • Attend client meetings where appropriate.
  • Ensure advice recommendations meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Keep up to date with FCA regulation, legislation and industry developments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with providers and professional connections.
  • Contribute to the firm's Investment Committee and broader technical planning initiatives.

About You

You will be an experienced Paraplanner with a strong technical knowledge base and a genuine passion for financial planning.

You will possess

Essential

  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a dedicated Paraplanning role within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, trusts, tax planning and inheritance tax.
  • Proven experience writing detailed suitability reports.
  • Experience using back-office systems, wrap platforms and financial planning software.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Professional, proactive and team-oriented approach.

Desirable

  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
  • Experience using Intelliflo, FE Analytics and cash flow modelling software.
