Laird and Good Company is a creative representation agency and production company working with photographers and commercial directors, with offices in London and New York. We're looking for a Producer to join our London team - someone who can run multiple projects at once, take real ownership from first bid through to final wrap, and build strong relationships with clients and artists across both stills and motion.
This is a hands-on role at the centre of how we work. You'll be the right hand to our agents on production - managing estimates and budgets, keeping clients and suppliers well-communicated at every phase and liaising directly with our artists. Our roster spans photographers and commercial directors equally, and the role needs someone fluent across both formats.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of production experience across stills and motion, ideally at a representation agency or production company with direct-to-artist exposure
- Hands-on experience across beauty, food & drink, hospitality and lifestyle, as well as director-led motion and commercial projects
- Strong estimating and budgeting skills including APA bidding, with the ability to work backwards from a budget to find a solution that works for the client, the artist, and the agency
- A thorough technical understanding of stills and motion post-production, including costs and timelines across digital and analogue formats
- Experience managing and negotiating with suppliers across live productions
- An instinct for where additional agency margin can be found within an approved budget
- Proficiency in Blinkbid (required) and Google Workspace
- Clear, calm, and responsive in all communications - clients and artists will rely on you as a constant point of contact
- Experience managing junior team members, production assistants, runners, and freelancers - delegating clearly, briefing properly, and following up to make sure work lands
- Comfortable travelling for shoots within the UK and internationally
Bonus:
- Familiarity with international market production
- Salesforce experience
- Working knowledge of AI tools for production processes
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience - please include salary expectations with your application
- Private healthcare
- Company pension scheme
- A creative, supportive team with real room to grow
- The opportunity to work across an internationally recognised roster of photographers and commercial directors
