A Career as Unique as You Are
You will be the face of our brand and the first point of contact with our clientele in-store. An important position holder, as our initiator of unique, welcoming, and unforgettable experiences for our customers. Delivering outstanding customer service, you will proudly uphold a high level of professionalism that is synonymous with our Laings standards. You will surprise and engage customers treating them to no less than a 5-star experience, assisting within our team on a part time basis each weekend. Your permanent part time hours will be Saturday 9.30am to 6.00pm and Sunday 10.00am to 5.00pm, a total of 14 hours weekly. Please be advised further our position is offered as a 12-month maternity leave cover fixed term.
Here is How We See Your Role:
- Be proactive in welcoming and approaching our customers in store, positively enhancing the flow of each of their luxury experiences.
- Engage with our clientele, be curious to identify their needs and confidently introduce them to yourself and relevant team members.
- Support with planning and co-ordinating appointments as requested.
- Assist with Sales or Service teams across breaks and request for additional support on the floor when required.
- Have an awareness in store, openly communicating with customers to manage waiting times appropriately.
- Offer an experience above and beyond, share recommendations for restaurants or local exhibitions, assist further with guiding customers to seating along with serving refreshments.
- Handover to Sales and Service team to neighbouring team members, ensuring the customer is directed to the right location.
- Foster relationships with return customers to our Stores.
- Be proactive and identify areas of improvement, be open to sharing ideas.
- Collaborate closely with our leadership team, be mindful of raising potential customer complaints.
- Contribute to always ensuring excellent standards in-store.
The Perfect Person We are Looking For:
- Hold similar experience in the Retail or Hospitality sector, comfortable in delivering world class service.
- Ability to be flexible when it comes to meeting customer requests, ensuring that each customer is provided with a bespoke in-store experience.
- A great communicator, personable with a natural flair for striking up conversation.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a competent multi-tasker.
- Impeccable personal presentation with an eagerness to learn and build on product knowledge.
