Role and responsibilities

As our Diamond Manager, you will bring enthusiasm and extensive Diamond and Jewellery knowledge to the role. You will collaborate with our senior store managers and colleagues in the effective day-to-day operations of our luxury showroom and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all. This is a key position where you will be acting manager in the absence of both our General and Assistant Managers.

You will be results-driven, leading, supporting and inspiring sales professionals within your team, fostering a culture of excellence. You will impart colleague training and development and assist with recruitment processes when required. You will oversee the management and control of Diamonds and Jewellery, liaising regularly with internal and external stakeholders on stock and display matters, and identify opportunities to increase sales and improve the Diamond and Jewellery business.

Assisting in our Glasgow Flagship Showroom, your hours will be 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.

What you will do

  • Apply your leadership experience and passion for Diamonds and Jewellery to assist the Showroom General Manager in building strong relationships and developing colleagues’ expertise.
  • Motivate and coach team members in store with senior managers to deliver outstanding financial results.
  • Maintain a high standard of Diamonds and Jewellery displays in showroom windows.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure regular stock checking and replenishment of best-selling key lines.
  • Build relationships with external brand representatives.
  • Ensure the showroom and colleagues are safe and secure at all times, adhering to business guidelines.
  • Undertake training and pursue opportunities for personal growth and development.
