We're looking for a Deputy Design Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality, buildable and compliant design solutions across major projects. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll not just manage design, but actively improve how it is delivered.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing design information to ensure it is complete, compliant and aligned to programme, safety and buildability
- Managing the flow of design information across all project stages
- Supporting the coordination of consultants and design partners
- Driving collaborative design reviews and resolving technical queries
- Monitoring design progress and reporting against plans
- Supporting construction and handover activities from a design perspective
What we're looking for:
- Background in architecture or engineering (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical) or similar
- Experience working with design consultants and delivery teams
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Able to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator who can work across multiple stakeholders
