Laing O'Rourke is looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor on a 9 month fixed term contract to support the delivery of high-quality recruitment across key business areas. This role plays an important part in creating a positive candidate experience while supporting hiring teams with both proactive talent pipelining and reactive recruitment activity. Working closely with hiring managers and resource teams, you will help identify talent, provide market insight and contribute to building a more resilient and future-ready workforce through skills-based hiring and inclusive attraction strategies.
What will the role look like? You will play a key role in:
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment activity, including candidate attraction, screening, coordination and onboarding to deliver a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Proactively sourcing and engaging talent through job boards, talent pools and market mapping, particularly within skills-short areas.
- Partnering with hiring managers to advise on recruitment approaches, talent availability and attraction strategies, including pipelining for future needs.
- Managing recruitment data, systems and reporting, capturing market insight, maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement of processes.
