Join the exciting journey of one of the UK's largest nuclear projects at Sizewell C! The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planner to join the Main Civil Works team. The Planner works with the MCW Planning Lead/ Snr Planner for one of the Delivery team sections, coordinates with the MCW wider team, and assists in developing, managing, coordinating, and monitoring the project programme for specific reinforced concrete buildings/structures.

Responsibilities

  • Support the section Planning Lead and collaborate with the delivery sections.
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed master and short-term project programmes in accordance with the Project Requirements.
  • Create a logical sequence and methodology to promote the most beneficial construction strategy.
  • Analyze performance and advise the project team of likely impacts.
  • Define resource requirements.
  • Coordinate internal customers – supply chain, engineering, design, commercial, and construction – on time-related matters.
  • Liaise with the site team and supply chain to review progress and ensure the programme is maintained.
  • Highlight issues for trending and resolution.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing construction programmes in a civil engineering environment.
  • Experience planning reinforced concrete works.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Comfortable with large-scale infrastructure works.
  • Degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • Professionally qualified or actively working towards a professional qualification.
