This role supports a major project within our logistics operations. You will be based on-site in a dynamic environment, working closely with operational and HSE teams to ensure smooth management of stores and occupational health initiatives.
Role Purpose
- Manage site stores, including stock control and IT system accuracy.
- Act as a key link between operational teams and HSE teams to promote health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Support occupational health initiatives and ensure proper PPE and equipment management.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue tools, plant, materials, PPE, and equipment via AssetTagz.
- Maintain accurate inward/outward stock movement and inventory integrity.
- Keep detailed records of PPE issued to employees.
- Order stock and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ensure proper tagging of equipment with hazard guidance and tool tethers for work at height.
- Support occupational health initiatives (dust extraction, HAV monitoring, PPE feedback).
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of tools, lifting equipment, and fall protection gear.
- Manage COSHH compliance and face-fit testing.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel & Word).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to challenge unsafe behaviour and promote safety culture.
Training Available
- COSHH, Harness Inspection, Occupational Health Risk Management, Face-Fit (Train the Trainer).
