Laing O'Rourke is looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join our team on the landmark HS2 Old Oak Common Project.

As part of our directly employed workforce, you'll contribute to one of the UK's most important building projects whilst enjoying excellent career growth opportunities. With an Β£8 billion pipeline of work, now is the perfect time to join us.

Pay Rate

  • Β£23.20 per hour

Key Duties

  • Work safely with timber and standard formwork systems.
  • Build and install formwork for:
    • Columns
    • Walls
    • Beams
    • Soffits
    • Kickers
    • Pre-cast units
  • Follow approved safe working methods and site procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work precisely to line and level with high tolerances.
  • Able to read and follow drawings and written instructions.
  • Capable of carrying out manual handling and physical tasks safely.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Happy working outdoors and at height.

Essential Qualification

  • CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Blue)
