Laing O'Rourke, C/O of SelectSecurity are recruiting a new member for our Security team working on one of our new projects in the Airdrie region. This role will be working days Monday-Friday and possible OT when required covering a 12‑hour shift (60 hours per week) on a long‑term basis.

We are looking for experienced officers to apply with good security and vehicle awareness ensuring the safety of our construction teams and members of the public. As the eyes and ears of the logistics team for the project you will keep watch of the construction site & access routes to ensure no unauthorised intruders or members of the public inadvertently stray into the unsafe area.

What we can offer:

  • Pay rate of £13.20 per hour (Increase to this planned in Apr)

What we are looking for:

  • Valid SIA license in either security guarding, door supervisor or close protection
  • Banksman and or traffic marshal training (not essential as training can be given)
  • A sound communicator both written and spoken.
  • Someone who can work well within a large security team and with others within the project.
  • A Strong customer focus and customer service skills.
  • A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity.
