Are you an experienced Project Planner looking to join a rewarding team?

If you have a background in programming, planning reporting, feedback, and mitigation measures, this opportunity is for you!

You will be a key part of the team at the Centre of Excellence for Modern Construction, developing manufacture plans and schedules for high-profile projects.

The role involves developing and maintaining programmes, project control, accurate reporting, and forecasting. Reporting to the Project Planning Lead and Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for developing programmes from the concept stage, reviewing manufacture forecasts, and liaising directly with projects for progressing and forecasting updates.

What will the role look like?

  • Provide leadership for planning and coordination processes.
  • Implement and maintain the Factory Business Plan requirements.
  • Ensure programmes comply with project requirements.
  • Develop and agree on a logical sequence of events, adopting the most economical/advantageous manufacturing and construction strategy.
  • Analyze performance, advise the project team of impacts, and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate manufacturing strategies and improvements.
  • Coordinate all time-related information with stakeholders, partners, and supply chain.
  • Represent the project/business with all stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
  • Develop and implement process improvements.
  • Engage proactively with other departments.
  • Develop knowledge of strategic planning and project/program management systems.

Qualifications

  • HNC / Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related sector
  • CIOB Membership
  • Experience in building relationships with clients\’ representatives
  • Contribution to pre-contract planning, work-winning, and processes
