Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-profile construction projects? Do you have a strong background in the data centre sector and a track record of managing complex electrical packages from pre-construction through to handover? Then Crown House Technologies could be the perfect place for you. We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our team on one of our exciting data centre projects located in Dagenham, East London.
At CHt, you'll become an integral member of an innovative, industry-leading team, working on some of the most technically challenging and rewarding projects in the construction industry. You'll take ownership of electrical delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors and programme milestones, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction are achieved throughout the project lifecycle. What is the role?
- Lead and manage the delivery of the electrical packages on site through to handover
- Ensure the timely completion of commissioning activities, safety documentation, and final project close-out
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and coordination with design, commercial, and planning functions
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, company standards, and project requirements
- Drive productivity, quality, and innovation across all stages of the project lifecycle
- Monitor programme milestones, budgets, and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- First degree in Electrical Engineering, a construction or design-related discipline, or an industry-recognised technical/engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent), with demonstrable experience in a design and construction delivery environment
- Proven ability to successfully deliver large-scale, complex projects within demanding environments
- Previous experience delivering large, highly regulated projects with MEP values ranging from £15m–£100m+
- Strong understanding of electrical building services systems and associated commissioning processes
- Ability to select and manage innovative construction methods, materials, and safe systems of work
- Practical application of engineering principles, technical problem-solving, and electrical calculations
- Ability to establish and oversee the implementation of engineering systems, documentation, and controls in line with H&S legislation and company standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project risk, programme, and performance effectively
