The Opportunity
Laing O'Rourke is seeking an Oracle Unifier & Thinkproject CEMAR Systems Manager to join our Commercial team in Manchester.
As part of our digital transformation strategy, you'll lead the administration, governance and continuous improvement of Oracle Primavera Unifier and Thinkproject CEMAR, ensuring both platforms support our commercial and contract management processes across major projects.
Working closely with Commercial, PMO, Digital and IT teams, you'll help drive system adoption, improve data quality and deliver valuable reporting and insights that enable informed decision-making.
What will the role look like?
- Administer, configure and maintain Oracle Primavera Unifier and Thinkproject CEMAR.
- Manage user access, security, workflows, templates and system governance.
- Coordinate system upgrades, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting and training across the business.
- Develop user guidance and best practice documentation.
- Work closely with Commercial, PMO, Digital and IT teams to ensure systems meet business requirements.
- Support reporting, dashboard development and management information using Power BI.
- Liaise with software vendors and internal stakeholders to drive future enhancements and system performance.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Strong experience administering Oracle Primavera Unifier.
- Experience with Thinkproject CEMAR or a similar contract management platform.
- Experience using and configuring Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong understanding of systems administration, governance and user support.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of NEC contract administration and commercial management processes is desirable.
