SIA Licensed Traffic Marshall. Laing O'Rourke, on behalf of Select Security, are recruiting a team of SIA licensed traffic marshals for one of our projects in Ranby supporting the construction of new prison premises.
For this role, you will be managing gate activities, logging in and out all deliveries, and assisting in banking vehicles into the site. We are looking for experienced security and traffic officers with good security and vehicle awareness, ensuring the safety of our construction teams and members of the public. As the eyes and ears of the logistics team for the project, you will keep watch of the construction site and access routes to ensure no unauthorised intruders or members of the public inadvertently stray into the unsafe area.
What we can offer:
- Excellent pay rate of £14.90 per hour (increasing to £15.65 after passing probation)

What we are looking for:
- Valid SIA license in either security guarding, door supervisor, or close protection
- CPCS Card - A73 Vehicle and Plant Marshal
- A sound communicator both written and spoken
- Someone who can work well within a large security team and with others within the project
- A strong customer focus and customer service skills
- A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
Role is offered on the basis of completing the vetting process which can take up to 4 weeks (unless applicants already have EL1).
