Role Purpose To provide nationwide field-based maintenance, repair, and technical support for an extensive plant fleet, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, and operational to agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and support to a wide range of plant equipment.
  • Respond to breakdowns and planned maintenance across sites nationwide.
  • Complete inspections, testing, and documentation in line with company procedures and safety standards.
  • Liaise with plant managers, site teams, and suppliers to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety and statutory requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven previous experience in a similar plant field service or mobile technician role.
  • Competent to Plant Maintenance Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience maintaining a diverse plant fleet (e.g. construction, industrial, or hire equipment).
  • Have a working knowledge of basic IT systems and applications

Requirements

  • Clean, full driving licence (essential due to nationwide travel).
  • Flexible approach to working hours and travel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
