Help shape the voice of one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure programmes. The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) — a partnership between Laing O'Rourke, Bouygues and Balfour Beatty — is delivering the full civils scope of Sizewell C, one of the UK's largest and most high-profile nuclear projects.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, the CWA Communications Manager will lead the development and delivery of engaging internal communications across the Alliance, ensuring key messages are clear, consistent and aligned with project priorities. Working closely with the Sizewell C communications team and alliance partners, you will help raise and maintain the CWA profile on site, promote CWA Values and Behaviour Expectations, and support external, digital and crisis communications activity where required. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a complex major project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and maintain the CWA profile on site, promoting CWA Values and Behaviour Expectations.
- Source, develop and deliver engaging content for internal communication channels.
- Prepare regular staff briefings and manage content distribution across all CWA platforms.
- Support the Head of Communications in delivering CWA communication priorities.
- Provide guidance and support to wider communications team members.
- Build strong working relationships with the Sizewell C communications team and alliance partner comms teams.
- Work closely with delivery and support teams to ensure timely and effective dissemination of key information.
- Support external communications, digital communications/social media, branding and crisis communications activities.
- Draft and edit content tailored to different audiences across the project.
