Laing O'Rourke, working with SelectSecurity, is looking for a front of house security officer for our Oxford site. In this role, you'll be the main contact for everyone visiting the site, handling gate activities and keeping track of all deliveries. As part of the security and Logistics team, you'll keep an eye on the site and access routes to stop anyone getting in who shouldn't, and make sure members of the public don't accidentally wander into restricted areas.
We're currently looking to fill day shift positions, with 12‑hour shifts adding up to 48-60 hours per week on a long‑term contract.

What you'll need:
- Valid SIA licence in security guarding, door supervisor, or close protection
- Good communication skills, written and spoken, and you should be comfortable with computers
- Able to work well with the rest of the large security team and everyone else on the project
- Strong customer service skills and good with people
- Professional, approachable and honest
